Designed as a modern alternative to traditional steel road forms, Super-Form™ Road Forms feature a simple interlocking joint, multiple lengths and heights, straight and radius options and a zinc-coated hire fleet.

UK Road Form Hire Size

Super-Form™ Road Forms are available to hire in five standard heights:

• 100mm ( 4'' )
• 150mm ( 6'' )
• 200mm ( 8'' )
• 250mm ( 10'' )
• 300mm ( 12'' )

They are available in three useful lengths:

• 1.2 metres ( 4 feet )
• 2.4 metres ( 8 feet )
• 3.0 metres ( 10 feet )

Having multiple lengths makes it easier to configure road forms around different pour dimensions without excessive cutting or infill.

A plywood infill attachment is also available where a small remaining gap needs to be closed.

Straight Road Form Hire

Our straight road forms are designed to remain straight and resist the bending, twisting and buckling commonly associated with heavily used traditional road forms.

The hire fleet is supplied zinc coated as standard, helping prevent rust and avoiding the problems associated with old painted or corroded rental forms.

This makes Super-Form™ particularly suitable for contractors who need road form rental equipment that arrives ready for use.

Radius Road Form Hire

We also supply radius road forms for hire.

Radius forms allow contractors to form curved concrete edges without attempting to force straight road forms around a bend.

They are available within our main road-form size range, making Super-Form™ suitable for projects combining straight and curved concrete work.

No Slides and No Bolts at the Joints

One of the main differences with Super-Form™ Road Forms is our patented joining system.

Traditional road forms commonly use sliding joint components or bolts.

Super-Form™ Road Forms simply push together and interlock.

There are no slides or bolts required at the main form-to-form joint, reducing the time spent dealing with seized slides, damaged fixings or awkward bolted connections.

For contractors repeatedly setting and striking road forms, that simple difference can save valuable site time.

Zinc-Coated Road Form Rental Fleet

Our road-form hire fleet is zinc coated.

The purpose is simple: rental road forms spend their lives on construction sites, in wet conditions and around concrete.

Zinc coating provides corrosion protection and means contractors do not have to accept heavily rusted road forms simply because they are hiring rather than buying.

Multiple Pin Brace Options

Super-Form™ uses removable pin-brace-holder attachments rather than permanently welding a single brace arrangement to the form.

Depending on the road-form height and application, the system can accommodate multiple pin-brace holders.

This gives contractors additional flexibility where stronger restraint is needed, including applications involving heavier screeding operations.

Stackable Road Forms

Super-Form™ Road Forms can also be stacked to create additional formwork heights.

Using combinations of standard forms allows heights of approximately:

• 350mm
• 400mm
• 450mm
• 500mm
• 550mm
• 600mm

Stacking requirements depend on pinning, ground conditions and the concrete application.

For pours above approximately 400mm we will often recommend discussing whether the Super-Form™ bracket formwork system would provide a more suitable solution.

Road Forms That Convert to Slab Edge Formwork

Super-Form™ is more than a standard road-form system.

The pin-brace holder can be replaced with an adjustable push-pull prop and foot, allowing the steel road form to be configured as high-rise slab edge formwork.

The system can also provide attachment options for tube-and-fitting handrails or compatible edge-protection systems.

This gives contractors another potential use for the same road-form equipment.

Road Form Hire With Dowel Holes

Road forms within our rental fleet are supplied with dowel holes and dowel caps as standard.

Where dowels are not required, the caps close the openings to maintain the concrete face.
